The Little Arden Theatre Company was founded on January 6th 2016 by actress Charlotte Swarbrick through a want to make her own artistic impact on the theatrical industry. She very quickly found reliance in fellow actor Tom Jauncey, and the two formed a trusted partnership - something that they like to refer to as the 'dream team'. Together they began to look at making their first project possible: a production of Jessica Swale's 'Blue Stockings' as proposed by Director and Producer, Charlotte.
Based in Birmingham, the Company not only strives to offer more accessible theatre for people from all walks of life, but also endeavours to involve young adults who want professional experience in the theatre.

Charlotte Swarbrick is the Founder and Producer of Little Arden Theatre Company, which means that she organises and oversees all aspects of each show we produce. She also works as a Resident Director and Writer for the company.
Since producing and directing Little Arden's debut show in 2016, Charlotte has also worked as a theatre director across the pond in the USA.
She is currently on tour in Germany with White Horse Theatre Company, portraying Juliet in their production of the Shakespeare classic 'Romeo and Juliet'.
Charlotte is thrilled with the success of the company so far and can't wait to see what the future holds.

Production Manager
Tom Jauncey is the Production Manager of Little Arden Theatre Company, which means that he deals with all of the technical aspects of each show we produce.
In addition to this, Tom also runs his own business - Nautilus Marketing Ltd - for online media management, for which he has a large number of clients from all over the world.
You can see Tom in panto this Christmas as he performs the title role in 'Jack and the Beanstalk' at Cadbury World in Birmingham.
Tom really enjoys all aspects of theatre and is very excited about the company. He is looking forward to working with new and upcoming talent.
